I can ping 192.168.100.1, but trying to access the web interface always fails. The explanation for why it fails is highly technical but the short version is that, when accessing the modem's web interface, the modem sends an ARP request to the router claiming to be from 192.168.0.1.

I can no longer access my Netgear modem at http://192.168.100.1 since Comcast made a repair this morning to the outdoor cable box that services my and several other homes and installed a new cable to my house.

Need to update Coda56 modem I can ping the modem 192.168.100.1, but I can not access the GUI. I found this article on the Hitron website: The ability to access Hitron’s CODA56 GUI requires firmware version 7.3.5.0.1b2 or higher.

Can you ping the 73.x.x.x address? It shouldn't have one. It should be a pass-thru in bridge mode. Admin interface on it will probably also shift to 192.168.100.1 if bridge mode actually worked. Did you power cycle the Xfinity gateway after you set bridge mode? It could be, bridge mode setting just didn't stick too. Their wonky remote-config database arch is problematic.
