With the bad weather the taco truck was closed, so I just thought we would poke our heads in at Agave, but thought for sure it would be another Mexi-merican experience like a El Nopal or the like. I have worked with Agave Nectar in several recipes. It is an invert sugar that can be purchased at Whole Foods. You mentioned that the bees were getting their nectar from the honeysuckle, agave is much thicker and they may need less to work with.
Two quick questions Does anyone know where I can find Agave Nectar? I am in the Lyndon area. Also, what do you feel is the best value Tequila on the market?
