I got an email with a link to deposit the Lopez v. Apple settlement check. I can't remember how I asked for it to be sent (check or direct deposit). It looks legit but most good scams do. Has anyone else received this email and used the link to deposit the check. $40 is not worth getting hacked.

Is this a red flag, or is there a legit reason for the date discrepancy? If it was truly purchased in October, why does Apple show August? Could it be a returned/refurbished item? Would love to hear from anyone familiar with Apple’s billing & serial tracking! Thanks in advance for your help.

I am looking into getting a new Windows 10 for my new iMac which will run Parallels. I found a site offering it for $35, and I wondered if this was legit and whether it was indeed the full version of a new Windows 10. Anyone familiar with this?
