AT&T Outage Map: Moderate to severe ‘Fiber equipment’ issues reported in Madison County
We used to always get the ATT&T cruise pkg. Recently off Explorer only having the Voom Surf-n-Stream and easily put my iPhone on air plane mode and used wifi calling for texts. Worked out well.
From what I can tell the ships internet access is over $300 so we definitely aren't doing that 🙂 Just wondered if there was a cheaper way than spending $50 for at&t plan. The .50 cents per text will add up fast. Thanks for your help. Hmm, $300 for wifi access for everyone versus $50 per person x 8 people = $400 for ATT plan.
The ATT international passport daily plan works off your phone plan messaging and data, and if you have a few port days in a row you really can make this a good investment. Plus an extra phone on the plan is only $5. If we have to make a call while at sea it is $1.99 a minute from your cabin. We have found that you can say a lot in one minute- lol!
Still though my HP 3830 printer says it is connected to the network, but not connected according to the HP instantink site. I cannot print wirelessly either. This is frustrating having to get up and go plug my laptop into the printer....I pay a lot of money for this service and AT&T needs to do something. firmware: 10.5.3.527171-att
