We used to always get the ATT&T cruise pkg. Recently off Explorer only having the Voom Surf-n-Stream and easily put my iPhone on air plane mode and used wifi calling for texts. Worked out well.

The ATT basic cruise package is really easy to go over on your data. The cruise plus package is $100, and gives you more data but again you can go over if not careful. The ATT international passport daily plan works off your phone plan messaging and data, and if you have a few port days in a row you really can make this a good investment. Plus an extra phone on the plan is only $5. If we have to make a call while at sea it is $1.99 a minute from your cabin. We have found that you can say a lot in one minute- lol!

Now I know ATT offers a cruise plan for $60 for the month but I don't know if we need the ships wifi plan in order for this to work. At $60 it is cheaper than the wifi plans. I need to text with the kids while gone and maybe check on my ebay business. Has anyone used the ATT cruise plan, are there any issues? thanks for your help.

Expand Not clear if it connects to the wifi or thru cellular after reading the info. Only good at sea. I have ATT and have only used the daily international on land service at $10/24 hours.
