Of them, the most reputable are beltfed34/Austin Aviation and amtak2/Arrowhead Lake XS Surplus. hdps_corp and militarysurplusparts deal in surplus parts but may have limited HMMWV parts. As mentioned, there are a number of others selling surplus parts.

Many surplus military rifles were expertly modified for the post war hunting community starved for firearms but were comfortable with full power military calibers. My son has a Mosin Nagant that was sporterized in the early 50s. Came with 80 rounds of 1952 dated mil ammo in Interarms labeled boxes, originally bought ‘new’ by one of my uncles.

I love the smell of surplus army/navy stores and surplus stuff. Maybe I'm just weird. You're not weird. Smells especially trigger memories from early life. True, the Army blankets were itchy, but their R-value sucked in cold-ass winter PA. My father either got into drugs in the '70s Army, or more likely enlisted to get a hold of "better" drugs.
