Bayonetta 3 is a really good game and might be the best bayonetta to play through gameplay wise, but the story is SO bad. In bayonetta 1/2 the story is nonsense but the characters all act like themselves, bayonetta 3's story is just so egregiously bad with its handling of Bayonetta herself that it kinda of puts a stink on the rest of the game.

Bayonetta is one of my favourite games of all time.. I didn't enjoy Bayonetta 2 much at all, just felt like it focused on major set pieces rather than the variety that Bayo 1 had on offer, so much so that I haven't even bothered checking out Bayo 3.
Bayonetta 3 delivers the most chaotic, luminous, and enthralling sequel filled with quality-of-life improvements that make this an immensely satisfying adventure.
