Anyway I transfer info by saving a file from Mapsource as a gdb and then read the file into Basecamp. A little slower but it has always worked. I have had some trouble trying to edit tracks in Basecamp by cutting and pasting to the track window. I suspect Basecamp wants you to use the track cut and join tools. #6 NMTrailboss, #7

The only image overlay that will display in basecamp is an old park map from vintage fest (barber) from 2015. the draw order at 100 or 0 doesn't appear to make a difference. New image overlays do not display. Maybe it's time to rm -rf . in the basecamp directories and start over again ? #12 ohgood, #13

When I start Basecamp after that it immediately tells me the newly installed map is locked. I guess I don't understand why that is. I have lifetime maps on my device. If I connect my GPS to my computer, it recognizes it and the map that is installed. So under Maps in Basecamp I have two entries for the same map. One is the GPS unit, one is the 'installed' map.
