I'm purchasing a vehicle from Carmax off of Independence Blvd located in Charlotte, NC.
The CarMax warranty will run out in 5 years (October 2012) and it starts from "today" (the day you purchase the pre-owned car and warranty from carmax Maybe I stand corrected.
I get updates from them (and CarMax) on a regular basis. I think the last number was just over $12K. Trust me, if my financial situation were to change for the better, there would be a serious talk about replacing it (or, alternatively, me getting something more fun in addition to the Subaru).
Given this situation, I am now considering the following options: Refinance my current MDX and then sell it to CARMAX, though this option carries some risk. Purchase the vehicle outright and then sell it to CARMAX, which presents an even greater risk. Negotiate with the dealer to increase the trade-in value.
