Coyotes across the field near Wicked109's house Beavercreek, Ohio and we live on the outskirts of the city limits. They could hear the neighbors little dog yapping.
For the coyotes, it'll get the job done but it's not going to have the distance most folks prefer for coyotes. If you'll only be hunting in wooded areas or know you'll have close shots I'd say go for it. It's a great round that has always performed well for my setup, but I will say, if you don't plan on suppressing it I wouldn't purchase it.

I’ve seen coyotes try to sneak in, but a I’ve seen a lot more come in full tilt, and a shotgun would be a preferred weapon in a lot of cases. #4 Buck and Full chokes. If you’re shooting a shotgun you’re already making a lot of noise. But anything as overbore as 22-250, 243, etc is gonna be loud, along with anything with a short barrel.
