An enterprise is a special partner that represents a corporation, also known as the hub, local partner, or sponsor. You can modify details of an enterprise profile but cannot delete it.
When you run enterprise discovery, the profile jobs can run up to the Maximum Concurrent Profile Jobs value. Each profile job might run multiple queries equal to the value of the Maximum DB Connections parameter.
The enterprise profile is part of a software application that identifies a person and can verify their identity. A complete enterprise profile might also include what users know, what they have done, their performance in each role, who they have worked with, and what their colleagues have said about them.
