Embraer ERJ 135 — regional jet airliner The ERJ 135 first flew in 1998 and entered service in 1999. It retained the basic fuselage cross-section of the ERJ 145 while reducing capacity. The aircraft was designed to compete in the 37-seat regional jet market.
