Genya Shinazugawa (不死 しなず 川 がわ 玄 げん 弥 や Shinazugawa Gen'ya?) is a major supporting character of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a Demon Slayer in the Demon Slayer Corps and the younger brother of the Wind Hashira, Sanemi Shinazugawa.
Genya is the younger brother to the Wind Pillar, named Sanemi Shinazugawa. Genya was able to survive the 7 days trial in the final examination of the selection.
Genya Shinazugawa serves as a significant supporting character during the Swordsmith Village Arc and sports one of the most feral personalities in all of Demon Slayer Corps.
Genya is a demon slayer as well and is the younger brother of Sanemi Shinazugawa, the wind Hashira. The fans however are confused about whether Genya is a human or a demon and whether he can use any breathing style.
