Gleim Online Auctions

Gleim is generally cheaper and a bit less polished (Black and white images and opposed to Glossy color), but has all the information you need. I really like the Gleim FAA online test prep. Not sure how it compares to King or Sporty’s.

Hey guys, Between these three choices - do you guys have any preference for online ground school? I am currently on the journey of getting my PPL (just starting). Sounds like a lot of people find King to be annoying and Sporty's to be very boring so I am thinking maybe Gleim?

Where Gleim's handbook is a bit cut-and-dry, Rod's is filled with diagrams and really really easy-to-grasp methods of breaking down complex concepts. Try it out.

Gleim has a better test generator, at least in terms of how I study. You can get Questions never answered, Questions never answerd correctly, Questions ever answered incorrectly, as well as sections to study or random questions .

Gleim I hear more has the reputation of teaching to pass the written test vs teaching for actual knowledge retention. Sports Academy has come up occasionally on searches for reviews on PPL Ground Schools, but I haven't heard of anything really good or bad about them.

Gleim changed the course recently and to me it's a lot better. A lot of good info and many many links for further information. I took it I think this past August. They have a core of topics (10-11 I think) and then you pick 5 additional out of maybe 10 choices. I believe you can try the first unit free so that might appeal to you.
