Big rock was the ultimate fish factory when it first opened. I've caught more than a dozen 5 to 6 pound bass and couple of 2-3 pound smallies. over the years the fishing pressure has pushed the bass deeper and deeper.
If you want to fish in the river, i would not recomend going to sliver springs, imo its not a very good stretch for gamefish, except where the big rock creek comes in.
