Add a printer using an extension Can apply for signed-in users on any device or enrolled browsers on Windows, Mac, or Linux. For details, see Understand when settings apply. These steps assume you're familiar with configuring Chrome settings in your Admin console.
Add a printer Currently, you can set up a printer in the Google Admin console in one of three ways: Driverless configuration—The printer provides all the details to the device. You don’t have to manually select printer make and model. Manufacturer make and model—Useful if your printer doesn't support driverless configuration.
Print from your device You can print from Chrome on your Android device. To print from your phone, add a printer that can get data with Wi-Fi or a mobile network. On your Android device, open the Chrome app . Open the page, image, or file you want to print. At the top right, tap More Share. Select Print . At the top, select a printer. To change any print settings, tap the Down arrow . Tap Print .
When you provide your printer a static IP address, it ensures that your computer always knows where to locate your printer. Static IP address won’t change even if your device is rebooted or if a DHCP IP lease expires. Tips: You'll need DHCP IP reservation, or Static IP for your client if you want to set up port forwarding to that device.
Look for a "Devices and Resources" option in Chrome Remote Desktop. You might need to add your home printer there. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your printer. Sometimes, firewalls can block printing. Try turning it off temporarily to see if it helps.
