Get 850+mp and Term imho - you can do mastermode without a hype but you can't do mastermode without a term. Hype makes it more comfortable due to the healing tho.
Hi guys, I was wondering, at what stage in the game should I start going for a hype? Curently I have ~180m in bank and can get 10m+/h from coal mining, so should I start the long grind for a hype or just invest more in a mmm like mining. I feel like unlocking a hype will allow me to do more...

For slayers, hype again. Rev 5 you can kill quickly with a hype even with the magic resistance. Spider you want a hype to just 1 tap it. Wolf you can 1 tap with a hype. Eman however there is some debate, a term allows you to get through hits phase at a very fast pace, faster than anything else as you can get 6 hits per shot with explo arrows.
it isn't hype worth if you will be grinding a lot of f7, hoping to get handle to make it pay back - and even then you may discard it one day for spirit scepter for bigger explosions hype makes some content easier as having wither shield is nice also ig hype is less demanding (crappy profile with hype can still go brrr while crappy profile with term is cooked) but with price difference of 1.2b ...
