We named it IRL, or “In Real Life” because we believe that what happens in real life is so much more valuable, and more fun, than just what gets shared later on social media. Today, as the world fights Coronavirus, or COVID-19, real life is changing.
IRL – In Real/Remote Life When we founded IRL, we had a simple goal: We wanted to help you, our users, spend more time with your friends in the real world, in order to boost your overall happiness.
IRL, short for “in real life,” is a group messenger social network. Unlike other group messengers, (FB Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.), IRL is a platform that enables users to expand their interests and passions by discovering new groups, communities, and events.
At IRL, we believe you can spend more of that time sharing with others. On a call in remote life, watching something together, playing together, or being together in real life when safe. Time Together is Time Together – whether virtually or in person.
