HD, Lowes and even Amazon advertise 'kink free' hoses and none of them are worth a ****! I've tried em. I coil them up loosely on garden hose hangars mounted to the house and every one of them kink, in multiple areas, when I remove it. I need a 75' truly kink free hose. Any ideas?
Guaranteed NOT TO KINK I ended up with one and went back to get another. You grab that puppy and go and it will unwind and not kink. I love it. Kind of a blackish gray and has a hell of a heavy duty brass connector on the end. More of an industrial connector instead of the standard hose connector.
The more you bend it the harder it gets to straighten and rebend, it will make it more likely to kink. The 1/4" is easy, you can kink it but you almost have to try to kink it. The 1/2" can be a little tougher but is still pretty easy to hand form. If you know you will have plenty of extra length cut a couple of feet off of one of the linesets and make a practice bend or two so you have an idea ...
Its more how you coil them than how you hang them. A peg, a hook, a drawer, a shelf, a bucket, as long as you don't twist the reinforcing in the extension cord. I have multiple 100' and 50' cords with no twist or kink in them. Learned it from my dad.
When you attach a typical expanding hose to the wall vent and the dryer and push the dryer back into place, you end up with 5 ft or so of expanded hose from the bellows spring, that can kink and restrict flow as you push back. I was thinking it would nice to have a hose that the wire was more like a spring than a bellows.
