If you get a third party Xbox wireless dongle, your Xbox controller can then wake up your PC from standby or hibernate straight in to Steam BPM. Doesn't work with the official one though. Alternatively get a FLIRC dongle and wake your PC from your TV remote. Just use hibernate, no need to leave PC on or even on standby.
I'm in the market for a new controller for my PC. I prefer the Xbox controller over Sony's. I kinda want to buy an elite but I have heard horror stories over the years. Are they still faulty or did MS fix the issues?
A new change we're introducing is when you long press the Xbox button, it will open Task View. Pressing and holding the Xbox button continues to turn off the game controller. They say they're testing it but it's already rolling out on stable (I'm not in the insiders rings) on my machine.
