You can dispute it if you want, but I suspect many mortgage brokers would tell you to leave well enough alone since it could be helping your average age of accounts (and your FICO scores). There are so many misconceptions floating around the interwebs about how closed positive accounts report.
Macys CLI Last online increase was on July 30, went from $2.3k to $8.3k. Since then all subsequent request prompted me to call in which eventually got declined for, "too many recent request with us or an affiliate." Was advised to wait at least 60 days since the last increase. Today marks the day, tried online got the prompt to call, uh oh.
Well it's taken SEVEN whole months of asking but I FINALLY got a CLI on my Macys Amex from $1500 to $5000. It's the amount I asked for. I - 6849882
I called Macys Credit CC and the rep said that I indeed have both the store card and the Macy's Amex. In order to add the Amex one online though, I have to wait for the card and delete the store card from the login and add that first so it doesn't do it twice.
