Palladium decided to open a plant in Pont De Cheruy, France, to start producing footwear that was as hard wearing as their tires. In 1947 the legendary Pampa boot was born, and the functionality, comfort and durability were so outstanding that the French Foreign Legion adopted it for their use.
Palladium Pataugas are the choice of the Foreign Legion Djungle Warfare. Also credibility en masse.
I have Palladium’s Pampas and Chucks too. I prefer the Palladium’s. I wear my Chucks on occasion. A lot of powerlifters I know wear Chucks. It’s kinda cool to know that they are used as military footwear. I was looking at a pair of Van’s styled “tactical shoes” earlier. But I can see myself paying $145 a pair for them.
