Rocky Balboa: Directed by Sylvester Stallone. With Sylvester Stallone, Antonio Tarver, Milo Ventimiglia, Burt Young. Thirty years after the ring of the first bell, Rocky Balboa comes out of retirement and dons his gloves for his final fight against the reigning heavyweight champ Mason 'The Line' Dixon.

Stallone followed Rocky (1976) with F.I.S.T. (1978), loosely based on the life of Teamsters boss "Jimmy Hoffa", and Paradise Alley (1978) before pulling on the boxing gloves again to resurrect Rocky Balboa in the sequel Rocky II (1979).

Rocky Balboa proudly holds the world heavyweight boxing championship, but a new challenger has stepped forward: Drago, a six-foot-six, 261-pound fighter who has the backing of the Soviet Union.

However, in his latest interview with Variety, Stallone has revealed that a seventh ‘ Rocky ’ is in development. The latest in the long-running beloved franchise is said to focus on Balboa and will involve the onetime boxing champ befriending a young street fighter living in the U.S. illegally.
