Just curious how good the SOG knives are? I'm looking for a pocket folder and like what I see on the SOG website. Other suggestions for knife brands also welcome, I'm kind of a knife newbie I guess.
The assisted open mechanism works very well as it does in all SOG knives. Push the blade out with the ambidextrous thumb studs and the mechanism takes over with a smooth and fast action.
Personally I've always thought that sog was a bit gimmicky. However, I think this knife may change my opinion. Edit: as a quick fix, I used some fishing line to loop through the eyelet near the first finger groove to tighten up that little space and it holds the knife a little better now.
