A fanbus is a switch that allows you to run fans at various voltages. By lowering voltage, you lower fan speed and noise. The voltage change is accomplished by using the 12v and 5v leads on a molex connector. Instead of running @12v by using the 12v line and a ground - it switches to 7v by using the 5v line for the ground. -MC
