Flowing off the end of the compound-statement of a handler of a function try block is equivalent to flowing off the end of the compound-statement of that function try block, unless the function is a constructor or destructor (see below).

Handling exceptions When an exception is thrown, control is transferred to the nearest handler with a matching type; “nearest” means the handler for which the compound statement or the member initializer list (if present) following the try keyword was most recently entered by the thread of control and not yet exited.
Evaluating a throw expression will throw an exception. Exceptions can also be thrown in other contexts. In order for an exception to be caught, the throw expression has to be inside a try block, and the try block has to contain a handler that matches the type of the exception object.
The following example uses std::try_lock to periodically tally and reset counters running in separate threads.
The following examples try to acquire a mutex that was locked and unlocked.
In addition, try_emplace treats the key and the arguments to the mapped_type separately, unlike emplace, which requires the arguments to construct a value_type (that is, a std::pair). Overloads (3) and (6) can be called without constructing an object of type Key.
