To copy citations instead of bibliography entries, use Edit → Copy Citation or Ctrl/Cmd-Shift-A. In addition to bibliographic output, Quick Copy also supports export formats such as BibTeX and RIS.
For other programs, export your data in a format such as RIS or BibTeX and then import the file into Zotero. You'll need to replace all existing citations in any document for which you want Zotero to generate a correct bibliography.

Many online databases offer users the option to export citation data directly to RIS or Refer format. Zotero Connector will automatically prompt you to add the references directly into your library.
Navigate to your EndNote data folder (as described above), save the export file, then import into Zotero as described above. With this setup, RIS will retain EndNote database IDs, but any italics, bold, or other formatting set in fields will be lost.
