Re: Belching/wind in chest/breathing Hi, Every since my first panic attack and subsequent higher anxiety state I get wind in my chest all the time, it's like a bubble of pressure but when I burp ( if I can) the pressure goes.
Re: Can trapped wind cause shortness of breath? Hi, this is a delay but in my experience i have found that after meals i become anxious and struggle to get sufficient breath, my breathing feels shallower. I think that causes more rapid breathing, therefore increases my heart rate and in a sense makes me more anxious!
Adrenaline, wind in your chest? I get this constantly, especially if I do any activity like a short jog or titdy the house or something. when i say wind in my chest its like adrenaline & trying to catch ur breath though i am breathing normally. Anyone else get similar symptoms? Is it just anxiety???
Re: Anyone - help.. Sounds like it could be your large bowel, probably trapped wind or a muscle spasm,I had these symptoms myself ,they were caused by IBS.try to relax ,your breathing difficultys are due to tension.Lay down an take some deep breaths for a few mins, x Sue 21-05-09, 22:33 #4 Kraggy Junior Member
Re: Left chest pain breathing in This pain has returned again. 2 nights ago after running on the treadmill in the gym I could felt a pain when taking deep breaths around the top left pectoral, almost up near the top of my left shoulder.
The remedy for this malady is slow, but not deep, diaphragmatic breathing. The ‘No Panic’ help-line will assist you, if required, in learning some simple breathing exercises. Finally remember that panic can do you no real harm.
