I saw it as Worf and Martok developing essentially what becomes a fraternal relationship. When Worf arrives at the prison camp and learns Martok is there, Worf clearly has respect for him purely as a warrior, and then Worf impresses Martok by never standing down to the Jem'Hadar combat ring.

Worf is a TNG and DS9 character, so I thought it fair to post this here. So, which are the 10 Best Worf-related episodes from the 11 seasons of Trek he's been in?

According to a recent casting document, posted on Roddenberry.com, Worf originally was named Kohrbek. Sounds more in line with the K starting Klingon names known at that point. What's your thoughts?

Worf was adopted and raised by humans in Russia on Earth, so Worf gravitiated to Starfleet but he knew he was Klingon. Worf had the pride of the Klingon and wanted to belong to "his people", but he grew up on Earth and was basically reared by Starfleet values. Ironically I always figured Worf to be the one true Klingon we consistently saw.

Worf was a popular character on TNG and gave a ratings boost to DS9. Voyager wouldn't have been plausible as they are supposedly out of contact with the Alpha Quadrant.
