The ATT international passport daily plan works off your phone plan messaging and data, and if you have a few port days in a row you really can make this a good investment. Plus an extra phone on the plan is only $5. If we have to make a call while at sea it is $1.99 a minute from your cabin. We have found that you can say a lot in one minute- lol!
The ATT basic cruise package is really easy to go over on your data. The cruise plus package is $100, and gives you more data but again you can go over if not careful. We used to always get the ATT&T cruise pkg. Recently off Explorer only having the Voom Surf-n-Stream and easily put my iPhone on air plane mode and used wifi calling for texts. Worked out well.
