The XD is the full size original. The XDm is really just an improved XD (it has switchable backstraps and larger capacity magazines) and is available in full size, or compact size. The XDsc is the sub compact model of the XD and is smaller than the compact XDm. The XDs is the new compact single-stack .45.
The XDS and 42 both hide. Magazine capacity standard issue goes to XDS with 7 and 9, but everyone knows there are after market items for Glock's that mitigate the standard 6 only in the 43. Pocket lint, I think the 43 produces less compared to either XDS (Mod 1 or Mod 2) as the XDS have more surface area and the mod 1 a Cheese grater.

Hi Folks- Does anyone know if Plus P loads are considered safe for use in the XD? (Or might they damage the weapon?) Wondering also if anyone has ever contacted Springfield to ask? I planned to use either Speer Gold Dot 9MM 124 gr +P or Remington Golden Saber 124 +P as defensive loads...
I have a XDs 45acp that I love but it has one problem. The loaded chamber indicator on the top of the slide is always in the up position indicating the gun is loaded.
